Grief Support - One-On-One Individual Sessions

Individual - (7) sessions, each session is 1 hour

While some people prefer to work in a group setting with others who may be experiencing similar emotions, some grievers find it more comfortable to work with a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist in a more private setting, one-on-one. This will allow you the privacy you desire in discussing your personal journey and emotional pain with a trained professional, who has used the same tools in their grief journey that you will be learning as well.

This 7-meeting format utilizes the same evidence-based materials as the group program, but in a more private setting.

The grief that comes with any emotional loss can be overwhelming and also very isolating. Often people find that those they normally count on for emotional support are not always as helpful when it comes to offering effective and meaningful assistance. Friends and family, even professionals, will often give you logical reasons why you should not feel bad, but that rarely helps. Grief is normal and natural. It is the emotional response to loss, but most of the information we have learned about dealing with loss, is intellectual.

You are suffering from a broken heart, not a broken head! The fact that you are seeking help in dealing with that emotional pain is not a sign of weakness, but rather an important awareness on your part that you are ready for a deeper level of commitment and action steps needed to move forward.
